About the Role
This is not a routine internship. As an Intern at Emplay, you will work at the intersection of `business processes, AI-driven workflows, and agentic orchestration. You will shadow Associates and Senior Associates to learn how enterprise-grade AI copilots are designed, configured, and deployed. Your focus will be on supporting delivery teams in turning business problems into working AI solutions powered by LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent orchestration frameworks.
You will gain exposure to client use cases across Sales, Procurement, Marketing, and other enterprise functions, while learning hands-on skills in AI automation, prompt engineering, data validation, and workflow testing.
Educational Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Coursework or certifications in Python, SQL, AI/ML, business analytics, or prompt engineering will be considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Client Discovery: Assist Associates in documenting business processes, customer pain points, and potential automation opportunities.
- Workflow & Agent Support: Learn to configure and test AI workflows using Emplay’s orchestration framework. Support creation of agent prompts, fallback logic, and testing scenarios.
- Data Validation: Write basic SQL queries to validate datasets and support exploratory analysis under guidance.
- Prompt Engineering Support: Draft, refine, and test simple prompts under supervision; document outcomes and improvements.
- Documentation: Prepare process flows, meeting notes, and functional specs to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.
- Testing & Quality Checks: Participate in UAT cycles, evaluate outputs for correctness and user experience, and log issues systematically.
- Learning & Research: Explore new tools, libraries, and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, vector DBs) and summarize findings for the team.
- Collaboration: Actively contribute in scrums, demos, and client sessions as note-taker or support resource.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong academic foundation in computer science, analytics, or business technology.
- Basic proficiency in SQL for queries and data validation.
- Working knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy) for basic scripting and analysis.
- Understanding of BI concepts: charts, patterns, and insights.
- Curiosity about LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI orchestration.
- Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and adaptability in agile/scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) or vector DBs (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate).
- Prior internship or project experience in AI, analytics, or enterprise SaaS.
- Familiarity with solution design or process mapping.
