About the Role

As a Senior Manager at Emplay, you will take on multi-project and account-level leadership. You will oversee multiple delivery streams through Managers and Team Leads, ensure consistent client satisfaction, and drive account growth by identifying new opportunities for AI automation.

This role combines strategic leadership, delivery governance, and client partnership. You’ll act as the executive-level sponsor for key accounts, ensuring CSAT/NPS targets are met, projects are profitable, and Emplay is seen as a trusted partner in transformation. You will also guide capability building across teams, strengthen succession pipelines, and support pre-sales/sales with delivery planning.

You are expected to operate at the portfolio level, balancing customer obsession, delivery excellence, and business growth.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Postgraduates (MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc.) with enterprise consulting or delivery leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Certifications in program management, AI/ML, or enterprise architecture are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership: Own key client accounts; maintain senior stakeholder relationships and act as executive sponsor for strategic initiatives.

  • Multi-Project Oversight: Oversee delivery of multiple projects/use cases through Managers and Team Leads; ensure timelines, budgets, and quality targets are consistently met.

  • Client Satisfaction & Growth: Drive CSAT/NPS improvements; identify opportunities for account expansion through new use cases or capabilities.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead delivery transformation programs that modernize workflows, scale best practices, and increase efficiency across accounts.

  • Sales & Pre-Sales Support: Partner with sales and product teams to size new opportunities, define delivery models, and build winning proposals.

  • Capability & Succession Planning: Identify hiring needs, skill gaps, and succession plans across teams; ensure leadership pipelines are built.

  • Risk & Portfolio Management: Anticipate risks at the portfolio level, implement mitigations, and maintain profitability across accounts.

  • Mentorship & Coaching: Develop Managers and Team Leads into independent leaders; build delivery maturity and leadership depth.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Work with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align delivery with business strategy and platform evolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in enterprise AI/SaaS delivery, consulting, or automation engineering leadership.

  • Proven track record of leading multiple projects/accounts with measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong expertise in delivery governance, client management, and account growth.

  • Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor mid-level leaders (Managers, Team Leads).

  • Excellent client-facing and executive communication skills.

  • Strong financial and operational discipline: budget tracking, profitability, utilization, risk management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and enterprise vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate).

  • Familiarity with cloud-native deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise system integrations.

  • Prior leadership of strategic transformation initiatives across portfolios or accounts.

  • Exposure to sales support, pre-sales solutioning, and proposal building in enterprise contexts.
