About the Role

As a Team Lead at Emplay, you will own end-to-end delivery of AI automation use cases, translating business requirements into technical execution plans and leading teams of Associates and Senior Associates to deliver high-quality solutions. You are expected to act as both a solution designer and a delivery leader, ensuring workflows powered by LLMs, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks meet strategic objectives, client expectations, and internal quality standards.

You will be the primary escalation point for your use cases, ensuring risks are managed, deliverables are on track, and outcomes align with business goals. This is both a hands-on and leadership role: you will guide technical design, mentor the team, and collaborate closely with product managers and architects to ensure scalable, client-ready solutions.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

  • Postgraduates (MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc.) with strong technical and business background preferred.

  • Certifications in AI/ML, data analytics, solution architecture, or project management are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Translation: Convert business requirements into clear, executable AI workflows, agent designs, and technical components.

  • Task Structuring & Delegation: Break down requirements into tasks, assign responsibilities, and track ownership across Associates and Senior Associates.

  • Solution Oversight: Guide team in designing prompts, workflows, and RAG pipelines; ensure architecture is scalable and aligned with client needs.

  • Review & Quality Assurance: Regularly review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and quality; enforce delivery standards and best practices.

  • Risk & Escalation Management: Maintain and own risk registers for your use cases; act as the escalation point for technical or delivery issues.

  • Client Engagement: Lead discussions with clients on requirements, solution walkthroughs, UAT, and delivery acceptance.

  • Mentorship: Train, coach, and mentor Associates and Senior Associates, fostering ownership and technical depth within the team.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, architects, and data teams to align delivery with product strategy and technical direction.

  • Delivery Leadership: Ensure projects/use cases are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in AI automation, enterprise SaaS delivery, or solution consulting.

  • Strong track record of leading small teams and managing end-to-end delivery of technical projects.

  • Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for analysis, prototyping, and debugging.

  • Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and multi-agent workflows.

  • Experience with solution architecture diagrams, system integration, and workflow orchestration.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead client-facing sessions confidently.

  • Strong organizational and risk management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain delivery quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate).

  • Prior experience managing delivery in agile/scrum environments.

  • Experience mentoring and building capability in junior team members.

  • Familiarity with cloud deployment concepts, integration APIs, and enterprise SaaS delivery standards.
